UPR 1979-2004 Ford Mustang Chrome Moly K - Member No Motor Mounts Dropped Hoop

UPR's Chrome Moly Tubular K-member with dropped front hoop - will save more weight and exceed any strength limitations of mild steel while allowing maximum header and oil pan clearance. Front hoop dropped 2" lower than our standard 79-95 K-members for over sized oil pans, or to allow you to lower the engine mounting position. This would be beneficial to those racers looking to install a Big Block engine and keep it lower in the chassis. Designed for the abuse of hardcore drag race, road race enthusiasts. Standard Mustang manual or power steering rack mounts are not included. Select your choice of rack mount brackets to add to the K member. You must weld them on. Rack Mounts: The drop hoop K-member is for custom applications and rack location and style can varies greatly so we offer the components to complete your K-member. Stock style tube/washers for factory or flaming river 79-04 manual rack (2026-26), Pinto rack mount tabs only (2029-03), Pinto rack mount tabs and billet clamp mount (2029-100).
