These pumps provide more fuel to your engine, but when the fuel level in your tank becomes low the pump can starve for fuel in certain driving conditions like accelerating or cornering. This causes hesitation, power loss, and your truck can go into limp mode. S&B’s sending unit permanently eliminates all external lift pump issues associated with low fuel levels.

ACTIVE BUCKET FILLING
S&B is the only sending unit for external lift pumps that fills the bucket with fresh fuel from the fuel tank, even when the fuel level is below the top of the bucket. Competitors’ sending units fill the bucket with fuel from the return lines only, which doesn't help you in many low fuel conditions. The S&B sending unit will keep the bucket full of fresh fuel under almost every circumstance.

Easily go back to stock if you need to. Lift pump manufacturers offer kits to make their pump draw fuel from the OEM sending unit, but these kits require a permanent modification to the sending unit.
